Kundalini Yoga
Brought to the United States by Yogi Bhajan in 1969, Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technology described as the yoga of awareness. The practice utilizes movement (asana), chanting (mantra), breathing (pranayam), and hand gestures (mudra) to unite the physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual aspects of the individual. It is a practice that works to profoundly expand consciousness and to deepen the experience of the infinite.
Terry Wolverton has been a certified instructor of Kundalini Yoga since 2000. She currently teaches on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8-9 a.m. at Silverlake Yoga in Studio 2.
